Venice is the administrative center of the Veneto region of northern Italy. A huge touristic city. It comprises of about 100 little islands in the Venetian lagoon on the Adriatic sea. With about 400 bridges linking them. There are many canals, including the Grand Canal, which are surrounded by Renaissance and Gothic buildings. In the city’s main square is St. Mark’s Basilica, which is covered with Byzantine mosaics, the Piazza San Marco, and the Campanile bell tower, from where you can get a view, of the red-roofted buildings across the city.

There is a huge consumption of marijuana in Italy. This is as a result of, the liberal policies for the recreational use of cannabis. More-so, individuals can carry small amounts of weed, for personal use without getting into too much trouble. However, growing and selling of marijuana remains illegal. You could face a prison term of 6months to 2years with a huge fine. Public smoking or use of cannabis and its related products in areas open to the public is also a felony subject to hefty fines and weed confiscation. To be safe, never smoke out in the public or carry big chunks of weed around.

Finding Cannabis in Venice

With Venice being a huge touristic city, the laws of cannabis are far less liberal. There is also a big security presence of cops which makes finding weed difficult, albeit not impossible. You can take a 10-minute walk, from the city center to the ”Lido de Venezia”, the beach of Venice. Once there, you should be able to easily spot weed dealers. You can also ask around, or if you come across someone smoking, inquire to know. The marijuana is often of good quality and cheap. Always remember, to stay alert to the cops.
